Job description:

As a Regulatory Financial Reporting Controller, you will be responsible for:

​

• The financial regulatory reporting for a range of German legal entities;

• This includes working on FINREP, AUSTA, BISTA and Anacredit submissions (to name a few) for these entities.

• Becoming the subject matter expert of these financial regulatory reports / returns;

• Working on the Brexit Plan for the bank – playing a key role in this project;

• Working on other ad hoc projects / initiatives at the Bank;

• Dealing with ad hoc queries from other teams and management;

• Keeping up-to-date with industry / market developments which could affect your responsibilities and communicating this to key stakeholders;

• Liaising with numerous teams across the globe on project work and to resolve issues / queries;

• Identifying efficiencies to improve processes;

• Appreciate Regulatory developments / changes and how these can affect your responsibilities;

 

Experience:

​

• Qualified Accountant – ACA or Equivalent would be preferable;

• Good technical accounting knowledge;

• Experience of HGB (German GAAP) is an added bonus!

 

Skills:

​

• Attention to detail;

• Time management;

• Capable to work under tight deadlines;

• Strong computing skills;

• Ability to manipulate large data sets

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal);

• Self-motivated.

• Functional Expertise;

 

Languages: English. German would be an added bonus!
