Security Engineer

FUNCTION:

​

• Perform all design and technical deployments for the implementation of Security projects (NG Firewall, Load-Balancer, IPS / DOS Engine, LAN, WAN), external and internal clients. 

• Write a complete and accurate technical documentation of the achievements made. 

• Maintain and manage the deployed solutions at the second level.

 

Main activities:

​

• Support the implementation of the Security of the client networks in accordance with the defined configuration standards.

• Advise our customers when integrating solutions into their ICT environments.

• Support the deployment or migration of existing LAN, WAN, MAN, Security Network and Security solutions to our customers

• Provide full technical coordination of external and internal client projects.

• Participate in the tests to be carried out as part of the implementation of new products or new technologies.

• Support the implementation of the Security of the client networks in accordance with the defined configuration standards.

• Advise our customers when integrating company solutions into their ICT environments.

• Support the deployment or migration of existing LAN, WAN, MAN, Security Network and Security solutions to our customers

• Provide full technical coordination of external and internal client projects.

• Participate in the tests to be carried out as part of the implementation of new products or new technologies.

 
PROFILE:

​

• University degree in telecommunications, electronics or computer science or equivalent

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of complex telecommunications systems or LAN / WAN / WLAN Security service infrastructures

• Networks and security expertise: ARP, TCP / IP, VPN, IPSEC, SSL VPN, VLAN, switching, firewalling, ACLs, MPLS, IEEE802.1x, IDP-IPS, NAT / PAT.

• Expertise in application development in XML, Perl, PHP, Linux script is welcome;

• Strong ability to innovate in a field where the methods and techniques used are complex

• Entrepreneur and self-taught

• Capable of handling complex problems

• Interest for new technologies

• Methodical and well organized

• Autonomous but able to work and communicate with other members of the team

• Stress resistant

• Master's degree in French, good knowledge in English and Dutch "Company minded"
