Genesis IT & Telecom are currently looking for several Java developer professionals for a well-known business management company in Belgium specifically in Bruges. The company is under doing a large growth phase due to the increase in their business and now are looking to expand their Java developer team with the main task of the role is to aid in the development of innovative and complex applications in Java and Angular. • As a Java developer, you are working daily on the development of innovative and complex applications in Java and Angular.

• You get the chance to work on key business and digitization projects such as mobile working, online customer portal, BI projects and the implementation of Master Data Management.

• You are part of an Agile team consisting of analysts, developers and team leader / scrum master. Together you are responsible for the functional and technical design, testing and documentation, ...

• You take control of the concrete technical implementation and integrations. Starting from an analysis, you work out the specifications into a technical design. You are involved in technological and architectural choices and can count on the coaching of the solution architect.

• You are responsible for quality, do the necessary tests and write the technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team.

• You work with various tools and applications such as Dynatrace, SonarQube in an Agile environment.

What are we looking for?

• You have an active knowledge of Java, Angular and unit, integration, performance testing.

• In addition to a good analytical insight, you have a hands-on mentality.

• You are a team player, flexible and dynamic.

• You are eager to learn and actively share your knowledge

• In addition, experience with Jira, database management (SQL DB / Oracle DB) and SCRUM / Agile work is an asset.

• The main task of the role is to monitor the quality of the internally built software through continuous testing and development
