Genesis IT & Telecom are currently looking for several IT service desk professionals for a well-known business management company in Belgium specifically in Bruges. The company is under doing a large growth phase due to the increase in their business and now are looking to expand their IT service desk team with the main task of the role is to follow up and communicate with our customers to offer a satisfactory conclusion.. The salary and benefits package are of a very good standard as well as the prospects of advancement. Below I have included some information about the role:
The Role Itself:

Together with about 10 colleagues from the service desk team you are an important point of contact for our 1,300 users
-
You are intensively involved in processing and following up all possible questions from these end users about hardware, software and telephony.

You are also involved in the preparation of installations, the first user tests of new hardware and software in our PC lab and the provision of logistical support at ICT level.

You develop procedures and manuals and ensure correct and efficient communication where necessary.

You actively contribute to the further development of the service desk by identifying areas for improvement.
Ideal Experience:

A strong IT-relatedness is more important than your diploma. A solid basic education within IT is a plus.

You do have a thorough practical knowledge of the daily use of operating systems, software and hardware (PCs, Windows, printers, tablets, smartphones ...).

An extensive knowledge of current Microsoft products (Windows and Office) is an added value, as is a good knowledge of Active Directory and networks.

A distinctly flexible, customer-friendly and patient attitude typifies you.

As a service desk employee you keep your head cool during peak times.

You work very planned and organized and have a strong urge to offer solutions.

You are an outspoken team player.

You can express yourself professionally in both French and Dutch.

You are in possession of a driving license B.
