Genesis IT & Telecom are currently looking for an IT Project Manager a well-known business management company in Belgium specifically in Bruges, Brussels or Antwerp. The company is undertaking large scale growth due to the increase in their business. The salary and benefits package is of a very good standard as well as the prospects of advancement. The Role Itself:
 

IT Project Manager

 

  • As Project Manager, you are responsible for the progress of overarching and strategic IT projects. Your projects are development projects such as access to the online portal, website management, master data management, etc.

  • It is your job to ensure that the project objectives are delivered within the pre-set timing and budget. 

  • You guide and manage all facets of your project and define which actions and responsibilities should be included.

  • You consider risk and change and know how to respond quickly to the objectives of the goals to be achieved.

  • You create a basis for change and offer the project members the necessary guidance and coaching.

  • You are the IT supplier for the business projects and you work together with the business project leaders.

  • As a Project Manager, you report directly to the IT PMO within IT.

 

What are we looking for?

​

  • You have a master's degree or equivalent through experience. 

  • As a project manager, you have at least five years’ experience in an ICT development environment.

  • You are ideally familiar with the Scrum methodology.

  • Experienced with project methodology (Prince 2), coaching and change.

  • Your colleagues know you as someone who takes the lead and persuades and motivates others.
