Genesis IT & Telecom are currently looking for a number of customer proxy / IT analysts for a well-known business management company in Belgium specifically in Bruges and Brussels. The company is under doing a large growth phase due to the increase in their business and now are looking to expand their software testing team with the main task of the role is to monitor the quality of the internally built software through continuous testing and development. The Role Itself:

 

• As a discussion partner you define, analyze and prioritize the challenges within the business of the domain Self-Employed and Families.

• You ensure a good translation of the business / user needs to specific applications and applications.

• You will also find it a challenge to delve into the processes related to the domain and analyze the specific challenges and needs within this business.

• You act as a point of contact for the business within the software development team. You discover the needs of the (end) users and can thus guarantee a qualitative translation of the needs to the different possible IT solutions.

• You represent and support the product owner within Agile development.

• You also further develop the chosen IT solution into technical specifications with which the developers can get started.

• You bring the different viewpoints together and manage to unite the priorities within the business with the delivered functionality.

• When you describe the business processes, you consider the architecture standards and ensure the necessary coordination and integration of the applications across the domain. You will be supported and coached by the business architect. You ensure that the documentation in business architecture is expanded and kept up-to-date.

• You coordinate alongside IT the business end-to-end acceptance tests for the delivered functionalities.

• You actively participate in the test process and can further develop the test methodology / tooling.

• You report to the team lead software development and work closely with your colleagues proxies, the development team and the business architect.

Ideal Experience:

​

• Prepare to deepen the work within the Self-Employed and Families domain and acquire thorough knowledge of processes and applications.

• You have a strong analytical ability and succeed in penetrating to the real need behind the question.

• You are a team player and can work independently.

• You can work under time pressure and are able to deal with last minute changes correctly.

• Good knowledge of Dutch or French and English.

 

Experience with the following technologies / tools is a plus:

 

• Development environment (SCRUM)

• Business process modeling (BPM).

• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect is a plus
