Our client is a finance broker who look to find solutions to all of its customers business finance needs. They pride themselves on their specialist advice and have a diverse range of approved lenders who can put their clients plans into action!

 

They cover a wide range of financing solutions for their clients - whether it’s funding new plant and equipment, expanding their company fleet, an IT system upgrade, or complete office refurbishment – my client has the expertise to direct its customers to the optimum lender, providing the vital link that will help their customers businesses grow.

 

The client is a broker not a lender.

 

Job description:

 

The role is for an individual who is looking to break away from the restrictions they may face in their current role and someone who wants to be their own boss!

 

You will become an Independent broker under my clients FCA permissions and then would work as a broker, targeting your network of clients / prospects who need assistance with asset financing. You are then able to speak directly to the 70 approved lenders which my client already has established great relationships with and work out your own deal.

 

My client already has 9 independent brokers working for them, with some earning over £100k in their first year and now earning over £300k!

 

Responsibilities:

 

The main purpose of the role is to source finance for customers who wish to purchase tangible business assets.

 

The main tasks:

• Communicating with customers via telephone, email and letter.

• Having knowledge of different types of asset finance in order to assess which product would best suit the customer’s needs

• Be able to read and understand financial information provided by the customer.

• Understand and comply with my client’s compliance procedures

• Complete finance documentation.

• Communicating with funders at all levels

• Explain the pros and cons of financial products to ensure the customer understands the products they are considering.

• Attend regular sales training meetings

• Possess the necessary IT skills to be able to carry out everyday tasks such as using Word, Excel, Outlook and any CRM system in place.

• Comply with data protection and security procedures.

• Keep up to date with Anti Money Laundering procedures, Complaints handling procedures, the firm’s approach to Treating Customers Fairly, Management of Conflict procedures, Whistle blowing procedures and Data Protection / Data Security requirements within the firm

• Must work within my client’s framework

 

Commission structure:

​

• You will need to pay a monthly administration fee of £150 + VAT which must be paid by direct debit

• On the commissions you earn – you will get 80% and my client would get 20%.

• This is capped when you reach £120k in commissions in one calendar year (Jan-Dec) – any commissions you earn above £120k you get to keep 100%!
