Job description:  

As the Financial Controller you will report directly to the Head of Finance and be responsible for: 

 

• The preparation of consolidated accounts, including coordinating analytics and commentary from other international finance colleagues and specialist third parties.

• Preparing management reports for the firm’s top management, to inform and assist in decision making processes.

• Working on the annual budgets and forecasts.

• Participate in other ad-hoc strategic planning initiatives.

• Participate on finance projects aimed at improving efficiencies and effectiveness of the team. This includes the implementation of a new GL system.

• Responsible for the design, maintenance and integrity of internal control environment and systems.

• Being the key contact for the auditors.

• Preparing tax filings, including corporation, partnership and individual tax returns and VAT – with the assistance from experts.  

 

Experience: 

 

• Qualified Chartered Accountant – 1st time passer is preferably;

• Good technical accounting knowledge;

• Private equity / alternative investment / partnership experience is beneficial;

• Experience of consolidated accounts.

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal;

• Personable and confident – need to be comfortable in engaging with the senior stakeholders;
