Genesis IT & Telecom are currently looking for several Data Analyst for a well-known business gaming company in Malta. The company is under doing a large growth phase due to the increase in their business and now are looking for a data analyst to work on initiatives to optimise the business and form part of the Data Analytics team. Main duties and responsibilities:

​

• Develop data visualisations that indicate specific data analysis findings

• Assist internal business stakeholders with data needs

• Collaborate with product owner and use Kanban agile

• Perform regular data analysis and reporting tasks

• Propose suggestions on how to improve analysis and data driven decisions

• Develop, implement, and conduct analysis on meaningful reports to facilitate decision making

• Gain expertise in data science and analysis by staying abreast on best practices and methodologies

• Present data in clear, easy to digest way

 

Required for this role:

 

• SQL server experience is a must

• Experience using BI tools 

• Has demonstrated creative thinking and is passionate about data and data analysis

• Ability to analyse information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems

• Ability to work on medium to complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance

Good to have:

 

• Experience with 1+ 

• Excellent communication skills

• Eagerness to learn Data Science

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
