Genesis Banking & Finance are currently recruiting for a German Private Banker to join a leading, global bank’s Wealth Management team in Luxembourg. This is a fantastic opportunity with great financial rewards and offering true career progression within the company.

The client has been running for nearly 150 years and have a presence across 70 countries across the globe. They offer high net worth clients’ proactive financial advice and do their outmost to meet our clients’ high expectations.

Responsibilities:

​

• Establish basic key prospects (acquisition) and increase the clients market share with German clients.

• Expected targets are New Assets of €25-30mn per annum for the first few years.

• Implement its commercial approach, respecting the objectives of growth and profitability of the customer portfolios.

• Working with customers - informing and advising them, with regards to management of their assets, while ensuring a comprehensive approach. This includes asset allocation (tactical and strategic).

• Advising customers on the products and services that meet their needs, in collaboration with the bank’s specialists (financial and non-financial offers), providing a service and high-quality advice in respect of the MiFID Regulations and Compliance Group.

• Comply with local regulations.

• Identify and seize the opportunities of cross-selling. Introduce customers to specialized areas of the bank.

 

Location: Luxembourg

Experience:

​

• Education: University degree in Law, Economics or Finance is preferable.

• A number of years of experience in working with German HNWI.

​

• Ability to propose innovative solutions

• Flexibility and availability for travel

Language skills: Fluent in English and German. Other languages are an advantage.
