Job Description

Together with the Business Unit Manager / Business Unit Director, to be responsible for managing, coaching and training the (Senior) Relationship Managers/Officers Legal and Corporate;

To actively participate to Risk Management and Compliance and abide by all related internal rules and standards;

To be responsible for the content of standard company contracts such as the share purchase agreements, management, domiciliation and administration agreements, indemnity agreements and side letters;

To lead meetings with clients or potential Clients;

To guide acquisitions and re-organisations of client companies/structures;

To review and assess legal documents and contracts;

To coordinate the day-to day work of and advise the sub-team;

To communicate and coordinate with clients as well as with all internal and external stakeholders concerned by the client companies under management;

To review legal processes;

To ensure that proper legal records are maintained for all client companies/structures;

To work on a limited number of specific clients (depending on the level of expertise required) in case of litigation or if no law firm assist the client for a particular matter;

To generate new business opportunities.
Experience
-
Ideally a Master in Law or a degree/diploma in Law;

5-7 years of relevant experience. Any previous experience with a trust company or a law firm is considered as an advantage;

Excellent command of English, any other language is a strong asset (Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, French);

Solid knowledge of International and/or Luxembourg company laws and tax laws (including - but not limited to - holding and finance structures, incorporations, joint ventures, liquidation procedures, (group) financing rules, corporate transactions, etc.), with - in some cases – a specific regional focus;
